So, if necessary, it is best to go to the doctor and get treated. If you don’t have any health issues, there are several remedies for period cramps. I am going to tell you how I deal with menstrual pain, and hopefully, this post will be helpful.

Like most girls, I also have period cramps almost every month, and depending on the pain, I use various ways to ease it.
1. One of them is walking. If I can move my body, I walk for about 30 minutes or an hour. When I come back home, I feel no pain, but I don't walk every time because sometimes I have such severe pain that I can't move or get up.
5. Besides that, I love eating chocolate bars with hot black tea for period cramps. This one helps too, as it can stop your pain for 2 to 3 hours, but to be honest, not all chocolate bars can stop your pain. I realized it when I came to South Korea. When I lived in Azerbaijan, I always had chocolate bars that were made in Russia, and it always helped me a lot. I tried Korean chocolate bars a few times, but they didn't help at all. I remember that once I went to the convenience store to buy some bar chocolate for myself because I had period cramps on that day, but I couldn't find bar chocolate of any foreign brand. Suddenly, I noticed Snickers there and decided to buy it. There is a small one as well, but I bought a big one. When I got home, I ate it all without black tea. I ate only the chocolate, and the pain stopped for about three to four hours. To this day, I eat Snickers when I have period cramps.
8. When I lived in Azerbaijan, I used to take painkillers, and they stopped the pain immediately and for long hours. I took the painkiller Naproff (tablet), and it was very effective. But my favorite painkiller was Solpadeine, and it is the strongest painkiller I've ever taken. It has big tablets; I add one to the water and let it melt, then I drink it. But here in Korea, I cannot find any of them. They are sold nowhere, neither in drugstores nor online. That's why I had to take Korean painkillers, and they were all weak. I even took the strongest Korean painkiller, but none of them helped; there was no difference in my period pain after I took the medicine. Once I told a Korean doctor about it, and she suggested taking two painkillers at the same time, but both should be from different brands. Since then, I have been following her advice. If you want, you can also use this method. You can also take two painkillers at the same time, but make sure their ingredients complement each other. If their ingredients don't match each other, it can harm your stomach. That's why you should ask your doctor first, then do it.
NOTE: Picture 1 is Naproff.
9. My last method is my favorite method, and I'm always like, “I wish I knew it earlier.” Once I went to a drugstore in Korea to buy a painkiller, and the seller asked me to take the painkiller before my menstruation started. Before our period, we all have pain in our bodies. I always have back pain before my menstruation, and whenever I have back pain, I know that in a few days, my period will start. When I have back pain and feel like my period is about to begin, I take a painkiller until my period starts. When my menstruation starts, I have less pain; 70 to 80 percent of my usual period cramps are gone.
I would like to mention one thing. I told you some medicine brand names, but that was not a promotion. I did not promote any brand, and I have used all these painkillers myself. So if you want, you can buy and use them too. All the information I give here is based on my own experience, and I still use all of them. If you want, you can try them too but don't forget that everybody has a different body. Some of them may work for you, and some of them may not. So just try to find the most effective remedy for your period cramps. You will not know what is good for you until you try it, right? And that's it. Thank you so much.
